Quick and easy steamed clams in white wine

To make it, just put all the ingredients together in a pot and heat it up! (lol)

【Ingredients for 3-4 people】
600g clams with shells
1 bunch of bok choy (or your favorite leafy greens)
1 clove garlic
2 chili peppers
20g butter
100ml white wine
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
A pinch of salt
A pinch of pepper
Parsley, if you like, as much as you like

【How to make】
1. If necessary, remove the sand from the clams.※Frozen clams in their shells are often de-sanded, making them very convenient※
2. Cut the bok choy (or your favorite leafy vegetable) into bite-sized pieces with scissors. Grate the garlic and remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
3. Place steps 1 and 2 and all other ingredients in a pot, cover, and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes. The pot is ready when the clam shells open.


※The 15-minute cooking time is a guideline. If the shells do not open in 15 minutes, continue heating. If the shells open in less than 15 minutes, turn off the heat※

The soup from the clams is delicious when drunk with the clams, but if you add cooked rice and cheese, it becomes a risotto-like dish☆彡

This white wine steaming recipe skips all the complicated steps, but it’s still delicious and, best of all, quick (lol)♪
I’m also happy that I can get some leafy vegetables in with it♡
