Today, I’d like to introduce Garlic Ginger Pork Donburi.
Thinly sliced pork is cooked in a sweet and savory sauce made with soy sauce and mirin, with freshly grated ginger and a gentle hint of garlic that brings out a wonderful aroma.

Served over a bowl of rice with lettuce, radish sprouts, and tomatoes, this dish becomes a refreshing and satisfying pork rice bowl.
The savory ginger pork pairs beautifully with the crisp vegetables.
Ingredients (1 serving)
Thinly sliced pork loin 130g
Cooked rice 1 bowl
Soy sauce 1½ tablespoons
Mirin 1½ tablespoons
Fresh ginger 20g
Garlic 1 clove
Sesame oil (dark) 2 teaspoons
Lettuce, radish sprouts, tomatoes, or other fresh vegetables of your choice as desired
Directions
1.Grate the garlic and ginger, then mix them with soy sauce and mirin to prepare the sauce.
2.Cut the lettuce, tomatoes, and other vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

3.Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and arrange the pork in the pan.

4.Turn the pork over while cooking and cook over medium heat until both sides are fully cooked.
5.Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and stir-fry over medium heat until the pork is evenly coated with the sauce.

6.Place the cooked rice in a bowl, top with the vegetables, and finish by placing the ginger pork on top.

Ginger pork is a comforting dish that pairs perfectly with simple sides such as a fresh salad or miso soup.
It’s also a wonderful option for a satisfying dinner on busy days.
