Mentaiko Japanese-style pilaf

Today, I’d like to introduce you to a super easy rice dish☆
Great for when you’re tired of the usual white rice☆
It is also useful as a snack to go with alcohol☆
It goes perfectly with the sake I introduced the other day☆彡

The other day’s Japanese sake→→→here

【Ingredients 2 servings】
1 cup rice
Mentaiko 1 to 2 pieces
15g butter
Japanese soup stock The same amount as when cooking one cup of rice in a rice cooker
(A thin soup that can be drunk easily)

【How to make】
1.Wash the rice and soak in water for about 30 minutes, then drain in a colander.

※At this stage, the rice will absorb the water thoroughly to make delicious seasoned rice.※

2.Cut the mentaiko and butter into thirds.

3.Put the rice, mentaiko and butter into the rice cooker, pour in the stock up to the mark for 1 cup of rice, and press the rice cooker button.

4.Once cooked, mix the mentaiko and butter into the rice and it’s done.
(Sprinkle some chopped shiso on top to add flavor.)

♡Adding extra mentaiko to cooked mentaiko rice makes a perfect snack to go with alcohol♡

♪give it a try♪
