Today, I’d like to share a simple but incredibly delicious dish: shichimi grilled chicken wings.
They’re so good that you might even feel like you don’t need to go to a yakitori restaurant!

All you need to do is season the chicken wings lightly with salt and grill them until the skin turns beautifully golden and crisp.
To finish, sprinkle plenty of shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven-spice chilli blend) on top. A squeeze of lemon makes it even better.

I recommend using chicken wingettes, as you can grill a larger batch at once.

If you have any leftovers, you can easily turn them into another dish. Simply shred the chicken by hand and mix it with spring onions, black sesame oil, grated garlic, white sesame seeds, and a little chicken stock powder to make a quick Chicken and Spring Onion Salad. There are so many delicious ways to enjoy it.

I hope you’ll try this as a simple and delicious snack to enjoy with a drink at home.
