Ingredients & Instructions

The only essential ingredient for this recipe is pizza cheese. Everything else can be adjusted depending on what you have on hand.

However, using raw meat or seafood is not recommended, as it takes longer to cook through.

For this version, I used classic maitake mushrooms, sausage, cheese, and an egg for a rich and satisfying finish.

Instructions

3.Sprinkle pizza cheese over everything, crack an egg into the center, and bake until beautifully golden.

Note: I had planned to bake the cherry tomatoes with the dish, but completely forgot — so I added them at the end instead. They still bring a lovely freshness and color.

Spam or other ham varieties would also work wonderfully in place of sausage.
Using a generous amount of sausage makes the dish even more flavorful.

Feel free to experiment and make it your own.
