Today I'd like to introduce you to a recipe that uses Shio Koji ☆ My favorite food is fried chicken wings ♡ but!! They're not even coated with batter or anything (lol) The only seasoning used for the fried chicken is Shio Koji!!
Technically, I guess you can't call it fried chicken (lol) But, thanks to the shio koji, it's incredibly delicious☆
To make this, prepare the desired amount of chicken wings. Prepare shio koji in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of chicken wings. (For example, if you are using 300g of chicken wings, use 30g of shio koji.)
All you have to do is sprinkle the Shio Koji all over the chicken wings and leave them for 24 hours, and the preparation is complete. (In the photo, the chicken wings are cut into a tulip shape to make them easier to eat.)
After 24 hours, rinse the chicken wings thoroughly with running water to remove the salt koji, then wipe off the water with kitchen paper. Deep fry the chicken wings in oil heated to 180 degrees until golden brown, and they're done☆
The magic of the koji mold makes the meat so juicy and delicious that you can eat it forever☆ (Just be careful not to eat too much, haha) The only preparation required is marinating it, so please give it a try☆
