Today, I would like to introduce a simple pasta dish I often make☆
It is “Jako Pasta” with sesame oil.
The combination of ingredients goes really well together, so try it out for your daily meals.
You can make it even easier by adding a little pre-made oil pasta sauce to adjust the flavor♡
【Ingredients 1 serving】
Pasta 100g
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Chirimen jako(dried young sardines) 30g
1 minced garlic clove
1 eagle claw
2 tablespoons pasta cooking water
1 teaspoon of store-bought oil pasta sauce
(※If you don’t use pasta oil, you can substitute it with 0.2g of salt.※)
A little pepper
Your favorite vegetables and egg yolk (as needed)

My recommendation is to use a little bit of commercially available pasta oil sauce to adjust the flavor.(This time I’m using KALDI.)
If you don’t want to use store-bought pasta sauce, you can also simply add salt.
(If you use salt, use about 0.2g.Dried young sardines are quite salty, so it’s best to use less salt.)
The reason for using a little bit of commercially available pasta oil sauce is that it makes it easier to adjust the flavor.
It doesn’t matter what type of product you buy on the market, so if you have a favorite, use it.

【How to make】
1.Add sesame oil, minced garlic, and deseeded and torn red chili peppers to a frying pan and heat over low heat to bring out the garlic aroma.
2.Add the small sardines to frying pan 1 and fry until slightly crispy, being careful not to burn them.
3.Prepare your favorite vegetables and condiments. Shiso (perilla), myoga (Japanese ginger), and egg yolk go well with this dish. Finely chop the shiso(perilla) and myoga (Japanese ginger).
4.Boil 1 liter of water in a pot (add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water) and boil the pasta for the specified time. (Reserve only 2 tablespoons of the pasta boiling water.)
5.Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and immediately add it to frying pan 2, add the pasta cooking water and pasta sauce (or salt) and pepper mix well.
6.Sprinkle on your favorite vegetables and if you like, top with egg yolk and you’re done♡
